I carefully scanned through lots of reviews and the reviews for this boot seemed like a good fit. When they arrived I immediately knew they were awesome! Pros: -VERY light weight. I'm so impressed -Sturdy and solid, good frame -Solid hard toe, no one was lying -Angled zip for easy out- he ties his boots super tight and he could get in and out with ease -Flap to secure over the zipper- I am a fan. In some boots the zipper starts to drop over time (if the boot has a long life). I think this will help keep that zipper up no matter what. -Good looking boot. -Cleans up well for the days you know your boss is going to look Cons: -We ordered an 11, he's a constant size 11. They were too big. He's a pain & it was hard to tell where his toe was so we went with a 10.5 I haven't decided if it's a con, but the company had you order a brand new boot order & you just return the original order separately. No "exchanges." He was worried the 5'' wouldn't be high enough, but they do go up just over his ankle bone. Just an FYI. Love the boot!! I'll say- it is GREAT for law enforcement work and if you're a frequent runner... constantly chasing down the bad guys, these are an awesome option. Almost like having sneakers.
